In recent years, the still life genre has assumed
significant importance for me, leading me to explore richer possibilities within objects. For a long
time, objects served merely as an excuse to paint—subjects through which to investigate color, form,
composition, and personal expression in drawing and painting.
Along this path, I have sought to create a cohesive dialogue between objects and their surroundings,
reinterpreting visual and conceptual possibilities beyond their utilitarian functions. By distancing
themselves from their familiar uses and contexts, these objects find a new place within a timeless
and placeless space—a presence that blurs the boundary between object and human, inviting
an alternative reading.
In this collection, meaning resides not within the objects themselves, but emerges from the
relationships formed by placing them together in a space stripped of familiar
references—a relationship that at times evokes the capture of a shared moment, without dictating
a specific narrative.
