Humanity, the complexity of inner states, has always been the main subject and the core focus of my paintings. The grays and lights, the heaviness of silence, and the depth of existential solitude; these are the silent language of my world.
Over the past year, however, this language underwent an inevitable transformation. Experiencing three consecutive losses and facing «death» up close pulled back a veil of reality before this visual world. Each of these losses left a deep scar on my soul and work, in such a way that these events—whether wittingly or unwittingly—have penetrated my every piece, becoming as though a new signature on my work.
This collection is not merely an elegy, but a multifaceted narrative of a journey; from the initial moment of «arrival» and the first breath, to the continuous effort to «stay» and «protect» the life force against decay, and ultimately, the acceptance of the magnificent yet formidable moment of «departure.»
