My works are born from journeys—painted exclusively during travels, never in a studio. They emerge from direct encounters with nature, not from observation but from being within landscapes. This immersion is perhaps their only common thread.
I surrender my palette and process to my inner state, painting without constraints. While earlier works featured female figures, my gaze now rests on trees. I perceive no rupture—those women were nature, just as trees are nature embodied.
I never title my works. To name them would be to confine them, just as I cannot title the life I live. Words impose limits I refuse to impose on the viewer.
When a piece is complete, I observe it in prolonged silence, stripping away all language. I realize: these are not trees; they are paintings. This revelation evokes indescribable emotion. It is this state of unknowing that fuels my search—my reason to see, to discover.
