The «Metamorphosis» (Estahaleh) collection was formed in late 1401 with a focus on the psychological dimension and the hidden layers of human personality. The pivotal concern is the expression of human behavior, which is rife with contradiction and paradox. We are a people who, beneath our kind facades, conceal emotions and sentiments such as anger and resentment, which unconsciously manifest in different situations; much like many of the animalistic traits we attribute to human behavior.
The use of various techniques and tools—such as pencil, print, and collage—is intended to emphasize the fragmentation of those same unconscious behaviors. Although the dominant method in this collection is collage, for me, it is still painting. In fact, I paint with papers.
