So That We Shall not Die of Reality

Statment

In my paintings, I am not trying to convey a specific meaning to the audience, in other words, meaning in my paintings is comprised of my feelings, mood and my thoughts at the very moment. Therefore, my subjects varies from portraits to still life, interior and so on … What I find important though, is the process of painting: The very moment I get inspired to start a painting or where to choose what color, these are the moments I live life the fullest. Painting is my reason to survive, so that, in “Nietzsche’s” words, I shall not die of reality.
