Neda Sadeghnia
Painter
Born in 1981, Tehran
B.A. in Industrial Design – University of Art and Architecture, Tehran Markaz, 2003
After various experiences in the field of industrial design, she has pursued painting professionally since 2015, studying under prominent masters in the field. In recent years, she has created a series of oil paintings depicting urban landscapes of Tehran and its outskirts.
In her works, natural elements such as mountains, trees, and sky coexist with artificial structures like towers, steel, and concrete. Within the stillness of her compositions, a tension unfolds between these elements—each one threatening the existence of the other. This inevitable condition reflects the inner conflict of the contemporary urban dweller: those who can neither bear the dust and weight of the city nor find solace in the seclusion of nature.
This body of work, titled Disappearance, was exhibited in August 2025 at Asr Gallery. She has also participated in several group exhibitions, including at Tarahan Azad Gallery, the Grand Prize of the Iranian Painters Association, and Golestan Gallery
